SILMO 2018
Unlike most UK Opticians we travel internationally to trade shows so that we can offer eyewear that’s different to what can be found elsewhere on the high-street.
In September 2018 our optometrists Norma and Chris and our Dispensing Optician Lucy travelled to Paris for Silmo which is one of the Worlds largest optical trade fairs. Silmo is an annual event where over 850 exhibitors present almost 1400 brands on 80,000 sqm of exhibition space!
We spent 2 long days exploring the vast number of displays leaning a lot about the latest styles and materials available from suppliers from all over the world.
We opened accounts with Kirk & Kirk and Face A Face, two of the most exciting brands in eyewear. We are one of the only practices in Wales to supply these exceptional brands.
We are already looking forward to the next big event which will be in Munich early next year.
